Finger Protector - Hinge Cavity cover

Offering a more robust solution than the domestic protectors, this good quality Finger Protection device is affordable and very easy to install.

It fits between the door and the door frame, fully covering the hinge cavity area, and preventing the ingress of children’s fingers. It is neat and unobtrusive, and comes in ready to use door length sizes, which can be cut on site to suit.

There is a similar but smaller device for the reverse edge, to cover the hinge pin area, if required.

The components are secured in place using adhesive strips, but they can be easily unclipped for subsequent hinge maintenance and decorating or cleaning. Each device comes with a purpose made wipe, to ensure the mounting surfaces are clean prior to installation and full fitting instructions.

Each finger protector is made from non-toxic PVC and is suitable for standard and rising butt hinges, and pivot hinges up to 180 deg.

For doors above 45mm thick, 2 or even 3 devices can be joined together to extend the reach of the protector. These are pre assembled for you.
