Stay-Put Semi rigid Corner Cushions

Stay-Put is our own range of Child Safety products. They have been designed to go above and beyond what previous products have achieved especially in terms of ease of installation, design and practicality.

Traditionally there have been two issues with corner cushions; getting them to stick in the first place and then removing them when the time is right without damaging your furniture. We have addressed both these issues with this semi rigid cushion and acrylic foam based adhesive.

This new product is moulded using two materials; the first is a hard rigid transparent area which provides a more stable surface which helps with adhesion. Adhesive pads are provided with the product. The softer tip of the product then offers the bump protection for children who accidentally fall against it. Both parts are designed to do different jobs within the one product; this is unique.

This hard rigid backing also makes it impossible to distort the cushion. Some current products on the market are soft pliable plastic which children can distort and then put into their mouths. Although they cannot be swallowed, there can be a risk to the child of suffocation as a folded cushion could cover the airway.

For successful removal of the cushion when needed you need to split the core of the acrylic foam tape by prizing it apar. This leaves an adhesive film on the furniture which can be easily rubbed off with your finger. This is much more effective than trying to prise the whole cushion off the table top.

The installed cushion resists a force of 115N (26lbs) to pull it from the furniture.

Lastly, as the cushion is very likely to be mouthed by the child once in situ, only top quality food grade materials have been used in its manufacture.
